The special show “The Ondekoza”, a long-awaiting and once sealed film by Tai Kato who was known as a wizard and maverick in the Japanese film scene.The documentary film made in 1981, “The Ondekoza”, of Ondekoza from the time when the group was first established will be shown in April on this special occasion of the sixth anniversary of late Tagayasu Den who was the founder of Ondekoza. Tai Kato known as a frontrunner in the Japanese film scene as a director, Den Tagayasu who dedicated himself to the production and Tadanori Yokoo worked at an art designer put their efforts into this film, which at that time was controversial. However, since its completion, it hadn’t been shown for a long time and thought to be a nonexistent film.
